This documentation supersedes previous sets of rules and takes into account, among other things, modified normative requirements, updated procedures, and adjustments to testing and certification processes.

The versions of the IBR regulations published and valid at the time of application are the sole governing documents for the conduct of the certification process. Amendments or updates become effective only upon their publication. Certificates already issued remain unaffected by this, unless otherwise stipulated in the respective guidelines or contractual agreements.

The requirements, procedures, and criteria of the IBR Seal of Approval programme are regularly reviewed and adjusted as necessary. The version of the documents valid at the time of application or certification applies in each case.
