Institut for Baubiologie Rosenheim
The objective of the Institut für Baubiologie Rosenheim GmbH (IBR) is to label building products—which have been tested for selected emissions and constituents in accordance with the published IBR testing criteria—with the seal of approval “Tested and Recommended by the Institut für Baubiologie Rosenheim GmbH” for consumers. The seal of approval was created by the IBR in 1982 to give interested consumers the opportunity to protect themselves in their living environment from adverse effects caused by building materials and furnishings in terms of excessive VOC emissions and certain harmful substances.
