PNZ-OBJECT-OIL

Areas of use:

For all heavily used untreated interior wooden floors. For rough or caustic-treated timbers as well as all interior deciduous woods.
Also for OBS boards and exotic woods!

Usage:
Conditions for ideal use:
The untreated wood must be clean, free of grease and resin and finely sanded, max. wood moisture
14%. Oil and room temperature at least 18 °C, max. humidity 60%.
Restored floorboards sanded with 60/120 mesh abrasive discs, finely sand new, rough wood with 120 mesh grinder. Vacuum away; do not clean using a damp brush! Wood rich in resin should be brushed with PNZ-GRUNDREIN (PNZ-DEEP-CLEAN) and left for at least 12 hours to dry.
Solid, composite and veneered woods absorb the oil differently, which may lead to colour deviations between them. Oil a test piece!
Stir and shake PNZ-OBJEKTÖL well. Form working areas of approx. 40 m2. Apply PNZ-OBJEKTÖL with a PNZ-FLOOR-OILER wet-on-wet and repeat rolling until the entire surface remains wet and the wood no longer absorbs oil (up to 60 minutes depending on the type of wood). The freshly oiled surface can be walked upon. Then remove excess oil with a trowel or rubber blade and immediately rub in with a green NORMAL-PAD Ø 400 mm (1 pc. required for 10 m2) under the polishing machine until there are no residues. There must be no shiny patches or oil splashes over the entire surface, it must appear dry.
Rub in edges, corners, radiators, door soffits etc. that cannot be reached with the polishing machine until dry using green 280x150 mm HAND-PADS. Avoid oil residues! They dry very slowly and remain sticky for a long time! Polish with a white PNZ-SUPER-PAD Ø 400 mm (1 pc. required for approx. 40-50 m2) after at least 12 hours drying time.

Coverage:

Maple, birch, beech approx. 200 ml/m2 per coat.
Oak, ash, larch, pitch pine approx. 100 ml/m2 per coat.
Pine, spruce, spruce fir, Douglas fir approx. 150 ml/m2 per coat.
Exotic woods approx. 100 ml/m2 per coat depending on their composition.
For wood-block paving approx. 3 times,
for timber laminate (industrial flooring) at least 11/2 times the quantity depending on the wood type.

Note:

Ensure good ground-level ventilation (open doors). Oxygen and temperatures above 18 °C accelerate the drying process.
Drying time is at least 3 days. Protect from water during this period! Do not walk on oiled floors for at least 2 days, thereafter with care. The longevity and preservation of value of oiled surfaces is strongly dependent on careful treatment in the first few days!
Observe care instructions for oiled floors!
